You’ve read the blogs, the tips, the way,
But now it’s time to make your play.
Resume, cover letter, LinkedIn too,
All need your magic to shine through.
But wait, you sit, your mind feels blank,
The words don’t come, the process stank.
No need to panic, no need to fret,
Just take a breath, don’t break a sweat.
Get up, stretch, move your bones,
It’s not just paper, it’s your throne.
Breathe deep, let your body flow,
The words will come when you let go.
Exercise, stretch, and feel the light,
Your mind will clear, and words take flight.
Think of your past, what you’ve done right,
And watch the resume take its height.
But here’s the trick—don’t rush, don’t race,
This marathon’s a steady pace.
Keep reading, keep learning, and soon you’ll find,
Your final draft will blow your mind.
Once it’s done, take a moment, reflect,
Does it hit the points? Does it connect?
Is your story told, your value clear?
If so, it’s time to give a cheer!
Job search is hard, but don’t despair,
With balance and effort, you’ll get there.
So breathe, stretch, and write with grace,
And soon you’ll find your perfect place.
